Deleting Your Account
How to request deletion
Section titled “How to request deletion”There’s no self-service button yet. To delete your account, email [email protected] or reply to any TinyGenerals email you’ve received. We’ll process your request and send you a confirmation.
What happens immediately
Section titled “What happens immediately”Your profile is anonymized as soon as we process the request. Your username is replaced with a generic identifier (like [retired_2026-04-07_...]), and the following are cleared:
- Email address
- Avatar
- Bio
- Login credentials
You won’t be able to log in after this point.
The 14-day recovery window
Section titled “The 14-day recovery window”Changed your mind? You have 14 days to recover your account using the link in your confirmation email. During those 14 days, you won’t receive any game emails (turn notifications, invitations, etc.).
After 14 days, anonymization is permanent. There is no way to recover your account or reclaim your old username.
What stays, what goes
Section titled “What stays, what goes”Kept (in anonymized form):
- Your game history (match results, replays)
- Maps you published
Other players’ records stay intact. If you played a match with someone, that match still shows up in their history, attributed to your anonymized name.
Removed:
- Username
- Email address
- Avatar and bio
- Login credentials and OAuth links
