Undo Actions
What Does Undo Do?
Section titled “What Does Undo Do?”Made a bad move? Undo rolls back your last action completely. Unit positions, health, gold, production queues — everything returns to exactly how it was before that action happened.
You get up to 5 undos per turn. A badge on the Undo button shows how many you have left.
How to Undo
Section titled “How to Undo”Desktop
Section titled “Desktop”- Press Ctrl+Z (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Z (Mac)
- Or click the Undo button in the action dock
Mobile
Section titled “Mobile”- Tap the Undo button in the dock
The button displays a count badge showing your remaining undos for this turn.
What Can Be Undone
Section titled “What Can Be Undone”You can undo any of these actions:
- Move a unit
- Attack an enemy
- Move and Attack (the full sequence rolls back)
- Build or Queue a unit
- Capture a building
- Cancel production
- Reorder the production queue
Each undo restores the complete game state from before that action, not just part of it.
Restrictions
Section titled “Restrictions”Own Turn Only
Section titled “Own Turn Only”You can only undo actions during your own turn. Once you end your turn, all actions are committed and final.
No Redo
Section titled “No Redo”Undo is one-way. There’s no “redo” to re-apply an action you just undone. If you undo by mistake, you’ll need to repeat the action manually.
Bot Turns
Section titled “Bot Turns”Bot turns happen automatically and cannot be undone. This applies to AI opponents in single-player and any bot players in multiplayer rooms.
Undo Limit
Section titled “Undo Limit”You get 5 undos per turn. When you’ve used all 5, the oldest saved snapshot is discarded. Plan accordingly if you’re experimenting with multiple approaches.
Multiplayer Behavior
Section titled “Multiplayer Behavior”Real-Time Games
Section titled “Real-Time Games”In real-time multiplayer, your opponent may briefly see an action before you undo it. The board then updates to reflect the rollback. Don’t worry about giving away information — quick corrections are a normal part of play.
Async Games
Section titled “Async Games”In async (play-by-mail) games, only the final state of your turn is sent to your opponent. Undo as much as you want while planning your moves. Your opponent only sees the finished result.
Battle Log
Section titled “Battle Log”Undone actions are removed from the battle log entirely. The log only shows actions that actually stuck, so it stays clean and accurate.
